About Us: The Founders

The company founders, Jimmie Roberson & Philip Roberson, Sr., of Nashville, Tennessee, have created a site that reflects their sense of humor, creativity, and unique view of the nose.

How should we develop All-About-Noses.com?

Philip Roberson, Sr., is currently a USPS Rural Carrier in Brentwood, Tennessee, and brings a diversity of talents and a wealth of humor and creativity to the site.

Jimmie Roberson, The Internet Grandma, is also an aspiring artist who is retired from the United States Postal Service. She brings her creative talent, inquisitive mind, life experiences, and ability to visualize what something can be instead of what it is.

Where this site is going? We'll just have to wait and see. Stay tuned.

How it all began

The web site's beginning came about October 1, 2005 when our son came over to our home (his parents) to enjoy an afternoon of football on television, specifically, the ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE.

At some point in the game while we were joking, laughing and casually talking, our son asked a question. We cannot remember the question – it still escapes us. Well, a light bulb went off in my head, I looked at him and said that sounds like a web site to me and we were off. We had so much fun exploring the possibilities of a nose web site, almost rolling in the floor with laughter at times, Philip cracking all his nose jokes, and me, me writing endless pages of notes.

The game over, we still hadn't nailed down the perfect name and our son had to leave. As soon as I waved goodbye and walked into my kitchen, the name (the perfect name for our concept) just came into my mind – All-About-Noses. I grabbed the phone and called him on his cell phone and he agreed it was the right name. I registered All-About-Noses that night.

We continued to email back and forth for several days whenever we would think of something new about noses. We still brainstorm and come up with new info - only these days, we like to include our son's 13-year-old son and our grandson. He's truly inherited some of our genes - recently we brainstormed for over two hours about the nose-he came up with many new ideas we hadn't thought of previously - one good word -noseaphobia. Ok, now that you know a little more about us, just call us weird, but we had fun. We truly hope you'll be amused and entertained at All-About-Noses.com.

I knew that day, October 1, 2005, that it was inspired – a gift from God just handed to us – a gift that fit our wacky sense of humor perfectly. But that's another story and I promise I'll tell you about it one day.
