Beach Wedding Invitations - for the alternative wedding
Author: Tim Olden

Beach Wedding Invitations are what they say, a wedding on the beach or by the beach. Pick from the many wonderful holiday brochures of perfect white sandy beaches, crystal blue waters, sailing boats, sunset, palm trees, coral and seashells. This is becoming the increasingly popular way for family and friends to enjoy an alternative wedding. As the cost of putting on weddings back home becomes increasingly more expensive, this is the ideal way to celebrate your union with family and friends. For them to enjoy the day and also to have a holiday with their friends and the family. Something to be remembered for life.

Beach weddings can be casual or they can be formal. Usually you can be seen walking up the beach, no shoes on, leaving your footprints on the sand. A romantic, storybook wedding. Your guests will be pleased to know that they don't have to dress so formally and sandals and shorts are more the thing to be seen in, as opposed to top tail and hats, which would be uncomfortable. Plus when you have a beach wedding, you have the social life that's brought in as well. So you can enjoy, not the just the day, not just the evening, but you can enjoy the holiday playing beach volleyball, running with children, little ones, playing with them in the sand, making sand castles. It can be a whole experience for the whole party, more so than you would get back home.

Now the most important thing about a beach wedding invitation is choosing the right invitations. You can find them in many places, specialist designers, specialists companies. You can find them at your print shop, your local print shop. They may have some on the shelf; they may print some especially for you. The Internet is another wonderful place to find large varied selection of invitations.

The wording is paramount. You need to know that your guests are informed well in advance. More so than normal wedding stationery as they need to be able to book holidays, perhaps a year in advance with their work and their company. They need to take time off. So either a save-a-date card before the actual invitation to inform them that they should save that particular date for your wedding and put it aside and book their holiday time. When you send out your invitations, you should indicate to people what sort of event it will be. And whether it be formal, black tie, tails or whether it be sandals and shorts. You obviously need to tell them where the function is going to be. Whereabouts - where in the world it's going to be, so they can make sufficient preparations for the weather and for vaccinations, if need be. You need to have an RSVP so that people will return their interest and commitment so that you can then book for them in advance a party booking. You need to make sure that deposits are also taken in. So there's a lot of organization in having weddings abroad. But the pros, I think, far outweigh the cons. You get more out of it than you would in a normal wedding at less expense.

If you need to know anymore about beach wedding invitations , then we are specialists in this field. We can produce wonderful invitations from our vast range or you can cherry pick from various designs or design your own. So if you say to me, you're getting married in a hotel in Thailand and you want to be seen on surfboard, you know we can create something for you. Whatever your individual requirements, we can do it. Wording Ideas for Beach Wedding Invitations
Author: Natalie Aranda

When it comes to wording your beach wedding invitations you want to come up with something that sounds great but that also conveys the location. Perhaps wording that says something like: Start writing your toast Because Anne and Mike Will wed at the coast On July 18, 2007 Fisherman's Pier Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina

Of course, that's a very casual wording for wedding invitations and you might be looking for something that is a little more formal or not so much of a rhyme. You can go for a custom wedding invitation that is considerably more formal like traditional wedding invitation cards are. Here is a more formal example:

Mr. and Mrs. John Jones request the honor of Your presence at the marriage of their daughter Tiffany Rose To Jeremy Scott Smith The fifth day of January Two thousand and seven At Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Perhaps this isn't your style either, and that is ok. Feel free to make up a beach themed invitation that is worded just the way you want. You may also search the Internet for other examples that you might use. Some people are exceptionally worried about etiquette and following it to a tee. If this sounds like you then use the web and wedding books to guide you when it comes to writing your own wedding invitations. If you don't particularly care then write them whatever way makes you happy. Just keep in mind it is your wedding day and following at least a little bit of invitation etiquette is a good idea and something you won't regret a few years down the road.

If you want something one of a kind that nobody else has ever had then consider hiring a poet to write your wedding invitations in a way that follows all the rules of etiquette but that also reflect your love for one another and your personalities. This could be a really fun way to have super special wedding invitations that nobody else has or will ever have. It might take a while to find somebody who could capture just what you want to say in a poetic way, but if this sounds like something you like then it really might be worth the effort. If you are working on a deadline though try and just find some wording you like and have the custom wedding invitations printed as quickly as possible. You don't want your guests to make other plans because you were worried about the invitation wording and didn't get them out soon enough!

So, you've decided to get married on the beach, surrounded by crashing waves, warm sand, and blue sky. Your wedding invitations should reflect this theme, and whether you go for fun and informal or elegant and sophisticated, you can incorporate your wedding colors and style into your wedding stationery.

If you're planning a destination wedding, you should send save the date cards at least six months to one year in advance of the wedding. This will give guests ample time to make travel arrangements, and to budget for a potentially expensive trip. Etiquette dictates that your save the date cards don't need to match your wedding colors or theme.

When you're choosing beach wedding invitations, the style of the invites should match the tone of your ceremony and reception. If you're having a casual brunch or afternoon cocktail party near the water, you may want to pick an informal card such as a sunglasses-shaped postcard or bright turquoise invitation. However, if your ceremony will be at sunset by candlelight, you will want to let your guests know that the setting is a little more formal. In this case, opt for a soft pastel color or small nautically-themed graphic instead. Make sure you give your guests an idea of what they should wear to the wedding, as people are often unsure about whether they should come in Bermuda shorts or a suit to your nuptials. Beach wedding invitations should include as much information as possible about the wedding location and proceedings. Research accommodation rates for your guests, and offer a low end and high end hotel choice to fit any budget. If the resort or hotel offers tours or activities, give guests that information as well. Some couples choose not to receive gifts for a beach wedding, as guests are often traveling a long way to attend the celebration. If you don't want to have gifts at your wedding, let your guests know by word of mouth through family before the wedding takes place. Never include gift information on your invitations, as this is considered poor taste.
