Estes Park, Colorado is a great place to rest your nose. Especially after you participate in all the activities for which Colorado is famous. Skiing, hiking, rafting, hunting, fishing, the list goes on..... Colorado is located in the Rocky Mountain area of the United States and Denver is its capitol. 
Our destination was not Denver, however, but the YMCA of the Rockies. We spent a memorable week there with our children when they were young. It's a great place for kids - all kinds of activities, movies, games, you name it, they have it. We were there in June, swimming one day and playing in snow the next day after an overnight snow storm.
We stayed in a two bedroom cabin with wonderful views of the snow-capped mountains everywhere. Lots of wildlife, also.
